Good news
Vanou will be in Canada for my wedding!! How great is that?? It wouldn't have been the same without her, she's been my best friend for a long time and it's never been so long since we've seen each other. We need a sushi orgie indeed, and lots and lots of movie going while munching on Australian jujubes.
(No, Vanou and Johanne, I have not forgotten my tradition of having half the weight of my suitcase be Natural Confectionnary Jellies...)
I can't wait!
Everything is going so well. Things are falling into place. The wedding preperations are slowly starting to happen, and we have great ideas.
I will also most probably make it to the final screening of 2:37 at the Toronto Film Festival. And my folks will be there too. How fantastic. Found a dress to wear, but have to decide if I can afford to buy it.....
And I got an interview for the next film that's coming to Adelaide.
And I got a decent tax return.
Oh, and guess what.
I finally bought my NikonD70!!! Just in time to take it to Montréal!! My friend Daryl wasn't sure if we wanted to sell it, he changed his mind about 4 times, but yesterday, finally decided to part with it, to my great great happiness.
So I am all set.
I have to say it's in times like these when I get scared something is going to go horribly wrong. Like pouring rain on our wedding day. Or missing all my flights as a standby and not making it to the screening. Shit like that.
But hey, I am a good person, I work hard and my life is not always this bright and easy, so I have to believe I'm worth it and that I deserve everything to keep on going so well.
